A Super 8 Wedding - Austin, TX

I’m soooo excited to share this post because it means that I’ve finally gotten back my first roll of Super 8 footage!! *does a happy dance* For those who don’t know, I’m filming a wedding next month on Super 8 film (yes, we’re actually shooting a wedding ON FILM!!). This is such a fun and creative growing experience for me, and I’m so excited that our bride, Cassie, has trusted me to capture her Super 8 vision.

Since I hadn’t shot on Super 8 before (and hadn’t shot on film since college), we agreed to do a test roll to make sure the lighting and film stock would work for the venue. The wedding is at the famous Driskill Hotel, which is also known for it’s dark, traditional interiors. I was pleasantly surprised by how the footage turned out even in the lowest lighting situations, and I feel more confident now after having some practice under my belt.

Here’s a little teaser of the footage that I threw together and I’m in love! I seriously cannot wait to film Cassie and Travis’ big day next month!

After months of hard work, I'm so excited to finally share with you the launch of my new official business brand, Emilee Guidorzi Film & Photo! As many of you know, I have spent the last two years operating under two different business names (Phótizó and Emilee Jo Wedding Films). As a way of thanking all of you for providing me with over two years of full time freelance work, I'm doing a GIVEAWAY for a Christmas mini photo session OR Christmas video card (winner's choice). You can enter by following me on Instagram and tagging a friend on the post featuring my new logo. Winner will be announced Friday, November 17th at 6 pm. Also, be sure to give my official Facebook page a like while you're at it!

Again, thank you so much for all of your love and support! I could not do this without you. I'd also like to thank Brianne Hardcastle for her beautiful graphic design work. You can check out her site here.

Lastly, here's a little instagram animation I threw together to announce my new branding:
