Anderson Wedding Highlights - Austin, TX
“When I was in seventh grade and Seren was in fifth grade, she came up to me and boasted that she had a boyfriend. That was twenty years ago…” Matty and Seren’s love story started all the way back in elementary school. Through highs and lows and some temporary breakups in between, these two have been by each other’s side for nearly their entire lives. Their day was a celebration of not only their love, but their growth as two individuals and all the ways that they have strengthened each other. Their day was romantic, sentimental, and celebratory, a melding of two lives, families, and cultures. Congrats (finally) to the Andersons!

Dodds Wedding Highlights - San Antonio, TX
It only takes a few minutes around Lane and Natalie to see that they’re the type of couple that’s going to keep each other laughing for years to come. Despite the rainy weather (which I truthfully still find beautiful!), they kept each other smiling and had the best attitudes throughout the day. There was such a beautiful atmosphere of love and support from their friends and family, and you could tell at the end of the day that these two complement each other so well. The night ended with an epic dance party, and I think I could’ve watched these two on the dance floor all night! Congrats to the Dodds!

Nix Wedding Highlights - Dallas, TX
I don’t know how I got so lucky to know the Holder family, but one thing is for sure, I’m sad that they don’t have any kids left to get married! I had the joy of filming Claire and Josch’s wedding three years ago, and I was so excited when Claire’s sister, Anna, asked me to film her wedding too! And as an added bonus, the groom just happened to be Josch’s cousin, who first spotted Anna at Claire and Josch’s wedding and knew he wanted to get to know her. Three years later and everything came back around full circle. And after filming two Holder girl weddings, this is what I’ve learned: 1.) You can always count on Mr. Holder’s toast giving skills - I don’t think there was a dry eye at the reception! 2.) Their family and friends mean the world to them, and the Holders really know how to throw a party! 3.) God is first and foremost in their lives and in their marriages. He is their foundation, and that was truly what made this day so beautiful. Congrats to the Nixes!

Sumell Wedding Preview - Austin, TX
Let’s talk about wedding drama, shall we? In all my years of doing weddings, I’m not sure I’ve seen anything as dramatic as what happened on Brooke and Mark’s day. After months of heat and no rain at all, a storm rolled in like no other and threatened to ruin Brooke’s dream of an intimate, Italian-inspired, outdoor garden wedding. The torrential downpour lasted only ten minutes, but it was enough to seemingly ruin all hopes of having that dream garden reception. Despite having every reason to be upset over the events of the day, Brooke was so calm and didn’t let the storm rain on her parade. Once the storm passed, Kristin Catter and her events team swooped in to rescue the day, drying off every table, glass, and chair to make sure that Brooke’s dream garden reception would still happen. Not only did it still happen, but it was one of the most stunning wedding receptions I’ve ever seen, with the most perfect pink sunset to top it off. If rain on the wedding day is good luck, then Brooke and Mark are the luckiest. Congrats to the Sumells!
