DeSpain Wedding Highlights - Austin, TX
Hailey and Beck are one of those couples who you know instantly are going to have an awesome wedding. Their style, taste in music, and everything about them screams cool (I mean, his name is BECK? Seriously, does it get any cooler?). But what’s even cooler about them is their love for each other and their love for Jesus. Their wedding day was flipped completely upside down by 2020, but they still found joy and were able to celebrate their marriage on their wedding day.
The heart behind my business and what I do is to remind people of the importance of their marriage story. It’s not about just a pretty venue, a pretty dress, and some flowers. Ultimately this year has shown me more and more how great my couples are in that we align so much on our views of marriage being greater than the wedding day. Hailey and Beck exemplify this in so many ways, and it’s a joy to be a part of capturing their marriage story. Congrats to the DeSpains!

DeSpain Wedding Preview - Austin, TX
When Hailey and Beck reached out to me about their wedding at South Congress Hotel I was so excited! I’d only filmed there once and it was a rehearsal dinner, so I was dying to film an actual wedding there. Then of course, covid hit and like everything else, wedding plans changed. The wedding was postponed, and later the venue changed to a family friend’s ranch out in Dripping Springs.
While the plans changed, the spirit of the day didn’t. Beck and Hailey’s day was so full of joy and such a fun party with their nearest and dearest friends and family. The venue was absolutely stunning, even if it was different from the original vision, and Hailey’s mid-century dream still came through in all of the details. The love these two have for each other was so sweet to witness, and I can’t wait to see where the Lord takes them. Congrats to the DeSpains!
