Weber Wedding Highlights - Lampasas, TX
Ever since filming Bailey and Gus’ wedding day I’ve been DYING to edit their video! Unfortunately in the crazy of 2020, it took a lot lot longer than I ever imagined. But today I’m so happy to finally share their video, because these two have such an incredible love story! They got married on their originally planned wedding date in April of 2020, during the height of the pandemic lockdown, in the preacher’s backyard in the presence of just their parents. They waited another six months before being able to share their day with their friends and family, and it was so worth the wait! The day still carried all the same emotions as their first wedding, and I’m pretty sure Gus has the greatest groom’s reaction I’ve ever seen to a bride walking down the aisle. (When Gus cries, I cry.)
The best part of telling their story was getting to tie in the footage of their original backyard wedding. Seeing those moments mirrored on their second wedding day was so beautiful to me, and I wanted to capture the significance of both days for the couple. This has been one of my favorite edits by far from a story perspective, and I hope you guys enjoy it as much as I enjoyed editing it. Congrats to the Webers (x2)!

Friday Wedding Preview - Lampasas, TX
Fun fact: I forgot to share this on my website/facebook six weeks ago when I made it and only shared on instagram. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Anyway, it’s #weddingwednesday so here’s a preview of the Friday’s gorgeous ranch wedding! The wedding venue, Hidden River Ranch, seriously blew me and David away. The ranch vibe is pretty common for wedding venues in Texas, but being home renovators, we tend to notice the fine details in buildings/homes (it’s unintentional and we’re not trying to judge you). We both immediately noticed and were impressed by the quality craftsmanship of the venue. This venue only opened within the last year, and you can tell that they spared no expense. I don’t know how to describe it other than what I imagine staying at King Ranch would be like. That’s what this venue was, with a hint of hacienda style. I don’t know why I’m going on about this, other than to say that we were really impressed and definitely recommend this place.
As far as the Fridays go, we were really impressed and recommend them too. ;) They were so great to work with, and their wedding party was so much fun! I may have told the groomsmen that if any of them get married one day that I want to film their weddings. The reception was one of the most fun I’ve ever filmed (the bride’s aunts were the life of the party)! And David and I left wishing we had a giant blended culture family who liked to party like the Fridays and the Torreses. We wish them all the best, and I can’t wait to edit their full video!
