Altuna Wedding Highlights - Austin, TX
I have such a soft spot for Neil and Carolyn. Not only because they got married at my beloved Mercury Hall where David and I got married, but because they are two of the most genuine people I’ve ever worked with. Their love and care for others is so evident, and their day was focused on simply their love for each other and their friends and family. These two are so in love with each other, I don’t know if I’ve ever seen a couple so smiley throughout their entire ceremony! I absolutely loved their witty banter and watching how much they balance each other. It was so easy to see that these two make an amazing pair and team. Congrats to the Altunas!

Altuna Wedding Preview - Austin, TX
Where do I start with Carolyn and Neil? Carolyn and I first connected when she slid into my DM’s. (No really, she did.) You see, my husband and I got married at Mercury Hall eight years ago, and they are sadly shutting down at the end of the year. I still hadn’t ever filmed a wedding there, and I was really desperate to shoot there at least once before they close, so I put it out there on instagram asking any photographers or coordinators if they had any Mercury Hall weddings they could refer me for. Carolyn had somehow found me (apparently hashtags work!) and responded to my story saying that she was getting married there soon. We met, clicked right away, and the rest is history!
She and Neil are one of the most fun and laid back couples I think I’ve ever filmed (Neil was keeping us on our toes with the jokes all day), and Neil’s teenage daughters were honestly cooler than I’ll ever be. The entire day was colorful, joyful, and full of laughter from start to finish. Also Neil and Carolyn went on the coolest honeymoon ever to a bunch of national parks! Like I said, cooler than I’ll ever be. Congrats to the Altunas!
