I think it’s safe to say that I was more than a little inspired by Maddy and Shubham’s Hindu wedding ceremony! This was my first ever to shoot, and it ended up being such a beautiful weekend and experience! Central to Maddy and Shubham’s weekend was the involvement of their families. There was so much love surrounding them, and the way both families embraced each other’s cultures was beautiful to witness. On top of it all, Maddy and Shubham are just an outright cute couple. They are playful, funny, outgoing, and it was a joy spending their wedding weekend with them. Congrats to the happy couple!

High school sweetheart stories tend to be some of my favorites, but Seren and Matty’s childhood sweetheart story may just top them all. Having dated a bit in fifth grade, these two were always meant to be and were eventually brought back together for good in high school. Almost as rare as childhood sweethearts? A wedding between two true, born and raised Austinites! Their wedding was a nod to Austin, getting married off the lake near where they grew up, and finishing the night with Amy’s Ice Cream and Tiff’s Treats.
