Ewing Wedding Highlights - Austin, TX
This wedding y’all. First of all, Hannah and Darius are just awesome people all around, and their energy and style are unmatched. But beyond that, I feel like the Lord keeps giving me new creative energy and is pushing me to try new things. This video is 1. my longest highlights video ever, and 2. the first time I’ve used more than one song in a highlights. This is the norm for a lot of wedding videos, but a first for me. I think it came out pretty awesome.
This wedding also had two of my most favorite moments to ever capture on video. The blessing over Hannah and Darius by the entire wedding was such a beautiful moment, and one that I knew immediately while filming that I wanted to include. The final song of the night was also a special one, as the entire wedding party gathered in a giant circle to sing “Rivers and Roads” together. I knew it was a special moment, but I didn’t know I was going to incorporate it into the video until I played it back and heard the crowd singing. (Pro tip: choose a final song that is meaningful to you and your crew. The memories you’ll make from that are irreplaceable.)
I loved getting to edit this video and getting to know Hannah and Darius through it. Congrats to the Ewings!

Motley Wedding Highlights - Dallas, TX
“When you’re planning an event like this and one of your biggest concerns is, ‘Where am I going to find a room big enough to house all the family and friends that we want to share and celebrate with?’, that’s when you know just how blessed you really are.” Claire’s dad’s toast perfectly captured the spirit of Josch and Claire’s wedding day. I’ve never filmed a wedding with so many friends and family present, and the entire day was one of joy and celebration.
One of my favorite moments that so perfectly represents these two was at the end of the night during their final dance. Instead of keeping that moment to themselves, Claire and Josch chose to share their final dance with their parents and sisters, the people who have supported and loved them through their entire journey. It was a truly sweet moment as these two families were becoming one. Congrats to the Motleys!

Santos Wedding Highlights - Wimberley, TX
One of the joys of my job (and one that I don’t take lightly) is getting to capture the moment that two people become one. I’m not sure I’ve ever captured a wedding ceremony as beautiful as Rachel and Nic’s. Not only was the setting along the riverbed just stunning, but the tender love these two had for each other was so evident during their tear-filled vows and their foot washing ceremony. The entire day was relaxed, yet you could feel the significance of the day during those moments.
After the ceremony, everyone was encouraged to kick off their shoes and hit the dance floor. The only two things the bride said she cared about having on her wedding day were snow cones and fireworks. Rachel got both, and they made for a fun and incredible night for their friends and family. Oh, and did I mention their adorable pups? I’m a little biased since I have two ridgebacks myself, but I think they made the wedding pretty great too. :) Congrats to the Santos’!

McCoy Wedding Highlights - Dallas, TX
Where do I even begin with Kinga and Jason’s wedding day?? It was so important to Kinga that this video captured the blending of their Hungarian and American cultures, and that the day also captured the American dream of her marrying her Prince Charming. There were so many special elements that really made that possible, and the entire wedding felt like it perfectly captured Kinga and Jason’s personalities. The wedding was classy, unique, fun, but most of all, filled with so much love and passion for each other and the future these two have ahead of them. Congrats to the McCoys!
