Berg Wedding Highlights - Dallas, TX
When Jenna approached me about wedding videography, she had a specific vision in mind. She’s a fellow creative with a photography background, great style, and even better taste in music. She wanted a video that was fun, creative, and energetic. Different from what she was able to find from other videographers. I said I was up for it, and boy was it a creative challenge! John and Jenna aren’t sappy. They are funny and like to keep things light. I erred on the side of using a lot of comedic moments from their day to shape their story, and stayed away from getting too sentimental. The focus here was positive, upbeat energy with unique editing, storytelling, and a hint of music video vibes. I think it captured their personality and their day in just the right way. Congrats to Team Berg!

Shebat Wedding Highlights - Fredericksburg, TX
In the last couple of years I feel like I’ve had more and more “pinch me” moments in my job. I get to work weddings that I could’ve only dreamed about with couples who are amazing beyond belief. Enter John and Hannah, two sweet souls who love Jesus, their family, and their friends like nothing else. Their day at Contigo Ranch went above and beyond anything I could’ve dreamed up on my “perfect wedding” Pinterest board (which doesn’t actually exist, but let me tell you if it did, this wedding would be the entire vibe).
Hannah and John were amazingly kind, fun, and had a sweet sentimental side to them that we got lucky enough to capture during their AMAZING portrait session. That light on the hills looking over the hill country?? Pretty sure I’ll never get over that. And GOSH. That dance floor!! I think I caught some of the most epic dance footage I’ve ever filmed. Everything about their day was so inspiring when it came time to edit, and I was so excited to finally get to use a song that I’ve loved and sat on for a couple of years (“Last Chance (Alt. Version) by CHPTRS). I had never found the right footage, couple, and tone to pull it off, but John and Hannah’s day fit so perfectly. And then as an added bonus, I got to use this other fun song (“Come Together” by Spirit City) for the reception footage, and it might be my most favorite wedding reception half of a video ever. I seriously want to dance and sing every time I watch it back. I’m so thrilled with how this final video came out, and I hope John and Hannah get to enjoy it for years to come. Cheers to the Shebats!

Caswell Wedding Highlights - Waco, TX
Where do I even begin with Emily and Trevor? They are some of the most laid back, genuine people I’ve ever had the pleasure of filming. There was so much peace throughout their wedding day, and I know it stems from these two and who they are as people, plus the people they surround themselves with. I absolutely loved their vows (as well as their private letters which they read out loud to each other during their first look!), and I knew I wanted to incorporate those personalized moments into their video. This is actually the longest video I’ve ever edited, and the first time I’ve ever used three songs before! I think the pacing of the video and the way it’s a little bit slower and calmer really fits these two and their personalities. There is a calmness that they both exude (except for maybe on the dance floor ;)) and their day was a beautiful reflection of that, plus their love of Jesus. Congrats to the Caswells!

Terre Wedding Highlights - Austin, TX
Well it’s been a little quiet around here. That’s because for the last two months I’ve been working on basically nothing other than the Terre wedding highlights! (Yes, I know that sounds crazy.) Sometimes life happens, winter storms shut down your power for a week, or you get sick, or pandemics just drain you of all creative energy, and videos take a while. Fortunately Addie and Cory’s wedding day provided plenty of inspiration!
These two are stunning people inside and out, and their day was straight out of a fairytale. From the romantic florals from Lovelily Flowers, to the gorgeous downtown setting of the Allan House, everything about this day was dreamy and magical. The way that Cory looks at Addie when she walks down the aisle, you can practically see how she takes his breath away. The way these two love each other and the people in their lives is so evident, and it was an honor to capture their day for them. Congrats to the Terres!
