Sears-Greer Wedding Highlights - Hunt, TX

I’m not sure I’ve ever heard vows as beautifully written as Mackenzie and Danny’s. These two have such a tender and romantic, fairytales and shooting stars sort of love that seems like it came straight out of a movie. Though there were probably a million sentimental moments from the ceremony or toasts that could have made the final cut, it was so clear as they recited their vows to one another that their words, their promises to each other, would be the driving force behind their video and telling their wedding story.

Danny and Mackenzie got married on Mackenzie’s family ranch, where her parents built a barn just for the occasion. The hill country made for the most scenic backdrop to their love story, as friends and family gathered from all over. There were MANY happy tears shed throughout the day, as people shared laughs and words of encouragement throughout the toasts and ceremony. The love surrounding these two was as evident as the love they have for each other. Wishing them all the best for many years to come!

Woo! We are working hard and cranking out videos over here now that busy season is finally (almost!) over. I’m so excited to start sharing more of my spring weddings, including Paul and Cristina’s gorgeous downtown San Antonio wedding, located at the San Antonio Museum of Art just off the Riverwalk. Their day was vibrant and fun, and reflected so much of the San Antonio/Fiesta culture. Their day was a party from start to finish, and they were such a joy to work with. Congrats to the Dapolitos!

Thomas Wedding Highlights - San Antonio, TX

I’m pretty sure Blake and Katie’s wedding day was straight out of a fairytale! Their day was romantic and dreamy, surrounded by incredible friends, family, and lots and lots of flowers! It was clear how much Blake and Katie’s community loved and supported them, as evidenced through the many sweet and tender moments throughout the entire weekend. Their reception space was designed by Keely Thorne Events and Events in Bloom, with Katie’s inspiration of wanting to feel like you were in a garden. The final concept was stunning and felt like a scene from Beauty and the Beast. It was a perfect day for a perfect couple. Congrats to the Thomases!

Richards Wedding Highlights - Driftwood, TX

I always love when I get to shoot weddings for friends, because I feel like it gives me a special insight that helps me make their film just a little bit more *them*. Sean and Angela have such funny, charismatic personalities that are so different from my usual couples. I really wanted to highlight their natural banter, the way these two bounce off of each other, and how it doesn’t take being around them for too long in order to see how these two compliment each other so well. It was even cute how, in an attempt to match each other’s energy for their vows, Angela went a little bit funnier thinking Sean would be all jokes, and Sean went a little more serious thinking Angela would be super sentimental. That made editing this video all the more fun, trying to match both the funny and sentimental energy they brought throughout the day.

And all of that doesn’t even cover the MANY surprises Sean had in store for Angela, which included performing a song he had written for her, plus a brass band for their exit which serenaded them with a cover of Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing” (believe me, this is fully on brand for Sean and Angela knew this when she agreed to marry him). Overall their day was so full of joy and laughter, and every detail seemed to capture who these two are together and the many ways they make a great team. Congrats to the Richards!
