Sumell Wedding Highlights - Austin, TX
I don’t think I’m ever going to get over Brooke and Mark’s stunning summer garden party wedding! It had all the vibes of a Tuscan al fresco dinner and captured all of Brooke’s wedding dreams. Even when the weather took a turn and almost ruined the day, Brooke and Mark remained positive and the outcome was better than anyone could have imagined. These two have such a sweetness and tenderness to their love, and it was such a joy to be a part of their day. Congrats to the Sumells!

Cuppetilli Wedding Highlights - Driftwood, TX
“I will choose to love you every day that the sun rises, and even on the day that it doesn’t. Somehow it feels like I was always supposed to end up with you.” It takes only a few seconds to see that Erin and Dominick are just some sort of magical together. They are both adventurous, kind, funny, and effortlessly fun (they are never not at an Austin FC game, traveling the globe, going to concerts, or busy meeting Matthew McConaughey). But besides that, they just so obviously “fit” together. What I loved about capturing their day, and what I always hope for all of my couples, is that even though the wedding was cool and fun, it was the marriage itself that was the ultimate priority. It was so clear that these two were ready to get their life together started, and that was all that really mattered to them at the end of the day. The amazing sunset, crazy dance floor, and having all of their loved ones there to party was just a bonus. 😉 Congrats to the Cuppetillis!

Bays Wedding Highlights - San Antonio, TX
When I saw Jordan on her wedding day, one of the first things she told me was that I looked pretty. On HER wedding day, she was making me feel so special and seen. That’s the type of person and friend Jordan is to others, and part of the reason I know Jake is so special too. Their relationship formed from online chats while Jake was stationed overseas in the military, and they quickly fell in love when they finally met in person. And it totally makes sense. They are both passionate, caring people who stand up for what they believe in, and fight for what they believe is right.
When I heard Jordan’s stunning poem that she had written as part of her vows, I immediately knew that it needed to be incorporated into their video in some special way. Getting the chance to stretch some creative muscles and try to create a moment in their video that was slow and beautiful and poetic was so rewarding. Jordan and Jake’s love for each other just feels so authentic and deep, I loved the chance to be a part of their day. Congrats to the Bays!

Nix Wedding Highlights - Dallas, TX
I don’t know how I got so lucky to know the Holder family, but one thing is for sure, I’m sad that they don’t have any kids left to get married! I had the joy of filming Claire and Josch’s wedding three years ago, and I was so excited when Claire’s sister, Anna, asked me to film her wedding too! And as an added bonus, the groom just happened to be Josch’s cousin, who first spotted Anna at Claire and Josch’s wedding and knew he wanted to get to know her. Three years later and everything came back around full circle. And after filming two Holder girl weddings, this is what I’ve learned: 1.) You can always count on Mr. Holder’s toast giving skills - I don’t think there was a dry eye at the reception! 2.) Their family and friends mean the world to them, and the Holders really know how to throw a party! 3.) God is first and foremost in their lives and in their marriages. He is their foundation, and that was truly what made this day so beautiful. Congrats to the Nixes!
