I’m pretty sure Blake and Katie’s wedding day was straight out of a fairytale! Their day was romantic and dreamy, surrounded by incredible friends, family, and lots and lots of flowers! It was clear how much Blake and Katie’s community loved and supported them, as evidenced through the many sweet and tender moments throughout the entire weekend. Their reception space was designed by Keely Thorne Events and Events in Bloom, with Katie’s inspiration of wanting to feel like you were in a garden. The final concept was stunning and felt like a scene from Beauty and the Beast. It was a perfect day for a perfect couple. Congrats to the Thomases!

Gonzalez Wedding Highlights - San Antonio, TX

Wow, I can’t believe it has taken this long but here we are finally on the last wedding of 2021! What a wild ride the last two years have been, and I’m so grateful for all the amazing clients who have been so patient with me as I’ve worked hard to get through the insane backlog that the pandemic brought on.

With that however, I’m so pleased to finally share Will and Victoria’s beautiful hill country meets Italian villa wedding! Everything about their day was so sweet and beautiful, but the biggest takeaway was how important their friends and family are to them. The dance floor was where everyone finally was able to let loose and celebrate, and the mariachi band was the icing on the cake. Congrats to the Gonzalezes!

Richards Wedding Highlights - Driftwood, TX

I always love when I get to shoot weddings for friends, because I feel like it gives me a special insight that helps me make their film just a little bit more *them*. Sean and Angela have such funny, charismatic personalities that are so different from my usual couples. I really wanted to highlight their natural banter, the way these two bounce off of each other, and how it doesn’t take being around them for too long in order to see how these two compliment each other so well. It was even cute how, in an attempt to match each other’s energy for their vows, Angela went a little bit funnier thinking Sean would be all jokes, and Sean went a little more serious thinking Angela would be super sentimental. That made editing this video all the more fun, trying to match both the funny and sentimental energy they brought throughout the day.

And all of that doesn’t even cover the MANY surprises Sean had in store for Angela, which included performing a song he had written for her, plus a brass band for their exit which serenaded them with a cover of Marvin Gaye’s “Sexual Healing” (believe me, this is fully on brand for Sean and Angela knew this when she agreed to marry him). Overall their day was so full of joy and laughter, and every detail seemed to capture who these two are together and the many ways they make a great team. Congrats to the Richards!

Robertson Wedding Highlights - Austin, TX

Three years. That’s how long this video has been in the making. From booking me in 2019, to postponing their 2020 wedding to late 2021, to now finally finishing their video months later. Ashley and Steven were so patient in waiting for their dream wedding with all of their closest family and friends surrounding them, but in the meantime decided to get married in a private ceremony in fall 2020. I was so excited to hear that my friend, Brooke from Honeygem Creative, captured their private ceremony on video, and I loved that I got to incorporate elements from both weddings to tell their story. It’s a story of patience, endurance, and an abundance of love from their community. Congrats to the finally Robertsons!
