Sumell Wedding Preview - Austin, TX
Let’s talk about wedding drama, shall we? In all my years of doing weddings, I’m not sure I’ve seen anything as dramatic as what happened on Brooke and Mark’s day. After months of heat and no rain at all, a storm rolled in like no other and threatened to ruin Brooke’s dream of an intimate, Italian-inspired, outdoor garden wedding. The torrential downpour lasted only ten minutes, but it was enough to seemingly ruin all hopes of having that dream garden reception. Despite having every reason to be upset over the events of the day, Brooke was so calm and didn’t let the storm rain on her parade. Once the storm passed, Kristin Catter and her events team swooped in to rescue the day, drying off every table, glass, and chair to make sure that Brooke’s dream garden reception would still happen. Not only did it still happen, but it was one of the most stunning wedding receptions I’ve ever seen, with the most perfect pink sunset to top it off. If rain on the wedding day is good luck, then Brooke and Mark are the luckiest. Congrats to the Sumells!
Cicconetti Wedding Highlights - Fredericksburg, TX
I always say that I want to capture couples authentically, that I don’t want their video to feel overly produced or like it doesn’t fit the actual couple. And I think that too often wedding days become about “the wedding”, and not the commitment that’s being made to each other. This was absolutely not the case for Janet and Mario, who are the one of the most authentic, genuine couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of filming. While their day was full of plans pivoting, they remained joyful and focused on the reason they were there: not for some instagram worthy wedding, but to get married and promise their lives to each other at the end of the day.
These two are so much fun and full of personality (or “Cicconetti spirit”, as Mario would say), that I’m pretty sure the entire day I kept thinking about how I was possibly going to fit everything into one video! It was a day filled with wild humor, light heartedness, deeply tender moments, and some all out craziness on the dance floor. I’m not sure I’ve had a wedding packed with so many levels of emotion in one day, but it for sure created a special place in my heart for these two, and I think one of the best love stories I’ve ever captured! Congrats to the Cicconettis!

Storey Wedding Highlights - Lockhart, TX
Annabelle and Philip are one of the most fun and unique couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of filming! Even though they had only dated for a couple of years, their relationship had the lived in feeling that they had been together forever. They both are so confident and comfortable in who they are as individuals, and I loved the quote from the maid of honor toast where she explained it so beautifully, “We see you living your life as it was, but even fuller, and together you’re just creating this magnificent combination.”
Also can we talk about their AMAZING style and how cool all of their guests were dressed? It was definitely one of the most stylish weddings I’ve captured, and Annabelle’s reception fit was a straight up dream! The dance floor was on fire all night, and the entire reception was one for the books. Congrats to the Storeys!

Coots Wedding Highlights - Austin, TX
Noah and Abigail have one of the sweetest love stories I’ve had the privilege of capturing. Together since they were 16 and 14 years old, they almost don’t even know what life was like without each other. When Noah reached out to me shortly before his wedding date, I was incredibly honored to find out that he wanted to surprise his fiancé, Abigail, by hiring me. She had loved a video I’d done for a friend of theirs, and Noah, being the sweetest future husband in the world, wanted to do anything he could to make sure his bride had the wedding that she had been dreaming of for ten years.
Everything about their wedding day was incredibly emotional and sentimental. From the support of their friends and family who have watched these two grow together from kids into adulthood, down to the intimate, personal vows that left everyone in tears. The love that these two have for each other was tangible throughout the entire day in a way that I have rarely seen. Ten years together is just a drop in the bucket for these two, who are so clearly made for each other. Congrats to the Coots!
